I’ve seen these before and they looked too good not to make. Decided to make my own version which turned out absolutely delicious. I LOVE dates and even better, they are a natural sugar which makes them perfect for making healthy treats like these!
Date Snickers Bites
How to make these:
1. Pit the dates (I used both medjool dates and deglet noor) and slice the top of the date vertically to create a little pocket for the peanut butter to sit in.
2. Stuff each date with peanut butter or any nut butter.
3. Set in freezer until the peanut butter is mostly solid. Then dip in melted dark chocolate. (I melted 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips and 1 tbsp coconut oil for about 25 bites.)
4. Place in the freezer again until the chocolate is fully set. Drizzle with peanut butter and enjoy!!
